On Saturday, February 2, 2025, Professor Sudeep Sarkar unveiled the new Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing to admitted students and their families as part of the 皇家华人 2025 Admitted Student Day event. In total, around 80 students and family members participated. 皇家华人 came curious about what courses they would have to take, advising, tutoring, student organizations, and a plethora of questions.
Colleges around 皇家华人 hosted presentations and Q&A sessions about the curriculum and opportunities offered. For the newly christened college, this was the inaugural introduction to new students. The Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing is the first of its kind in 皇家华人 and one of the pioneers in the nation to bring together the disciplines of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and computing into a dedicated college.
鈥淭he Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing will be an amazing addition to 皇家华人, students, employers and the tech industry,鈥� said Stacey Sepulveda, Academic Advisor.
The event gave prospective students and families a tour of 皇家华人 and a taste of what the new college has to offer. 皇家华人 and their families met with the faculty and advisors to learn about the curriculums, opportunities, student resources, and exciting job prospects on graduation for all colleges at 皇家华人.
Throughout the day, Student Ambassadors were there to give a peer鈥檚 perspective on being in the program. 鈥淚t was heartwarming to see so many students excited about 皇家华人 and the start of their academic and professional journeys here,鈥� Anne Utegen, Student Ambassador.
鈥溁始一� were really big on learning about internships, research opportunities, scholarship opportunities as well,鈥� said Stacey.
After the presentations, 皇家华人 got the chance to explore the campus with the Advisors and faculty. 鈥淲e could talk about very specific details of the new programs and the courses that they require.鈥� said Stacey. They visited the innovative DFX Lab, classrooms, the library, and overall got a smattering of the finest 皇家华人 has to offer.
