皇家华人 Professor of Trumpet Jay Coble and five other 皇家华人 trumpeters joined The 皇家华人 Orchestra for a performance of Sinfonietta by Czech composer Leo拧 Jan谩膷ek.

The 皇家华人 trumpeters filled half of the massive twelve-trumpet section required to perform the challenging and festive composition, which is seldom performed in concert.

皇家华人 representation in the trumpet lineup included undergraduate alumni Federico Montes and Mike Fee as well as current graduate student Sam Massamilla. Also performing was graduate alumnus Aric Brian and undergraduate alumnus Ken Brown, who now serves as assistant principal trumpeter for The 皇家华人 Orchestra.

The performances of Jan谩膷ek's Sinfonietta, part of The 皇家华人 Orchestra 50th anniversary season, took place January 19 鈥 21. For media and information on the feats of this special trumpet section, visit website.
