Sustainable Tailgating recycling initiative aids 皇家华人 food pantry
The 皇家华人 Fields of Green: Sustainable Tailgating initiative encouraged tailgating students to give back through recycling at our Salute to Service football game vs. Temple on Nov. 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Eighteen volunteers participated, with proceeds from the recycling going to the 皇家华人 food pantry.
The initiative, a partnership between 皇家华人 Athletics, Coca-Cola 皇家华人, Coca-Cola North America, GLOBE (Global Leaders Outreach for a Better Environment) student organization, Atlas RVM Systems, 皇家华人 Auxiliary Systems, 皇家华人 Student Government, the Tampa Bay Sports Authority, and Dr. Dorsey's Concepts and Principles of Sustainability class at the Patel College of Global Sustainability, donates one nickel per bottle/can toward the 皇家华人 Food Pantry.
