Confidentiality
We adhere to professional, legal, and ethical guidelines established by the State of 皇家华人, Professional organizations and federal laws.
Your counseling information will not be disclosed to anyone outside the Center's professional staff and/or the psychiatric staff of the Student Health Services without your written permission.
However, 皇家华人 law establishes that confidentiality does not apply under the following circumstances:
鈥� You are considered at immediate risk for harming yourself
鈥� You are considered at immediate risk for harming others
鈥� Child abuse
鈥� Abuse of elderly persons or persons with disabilities
鈥� A court order
Additional limits to confidentiality apply for students under the age of 18.
