Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is once again and for the 10th straight year the top-ranked hospital in the Tampa Bay region, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 Best Hospitals rankings. TGH also earned recognition as one of the Top 50 hospitals in the nation across six specialties, all led or co-led by »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Health faculty — including OB-GYN, which rose to No. 5 in the nation and remains the No. 1 ranked program in »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË.

The University of South »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË College of Nursing has been named a 2025 Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing (NLN). This year, »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË is one of only 21 nursing education programs nationwide to receive the NLN Center of Excellenceâ„¢ (COE) designation, a prestigious recognition given to organizations that demonstrate sustained, evidence-based and substantive innovation in nursing education.

Jesse Casanova receives »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Health Culture Coin for exemplary leadership during international delegation
Jesse Casanova, associate director of International Programs at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Health International, was recognized with a Culture Coin for his exceptional coordination of a multi-sector delegation to Japan. His leadership resulted in new partnerships with six Japanese institutions, including agreements with Tokyo Women's Medical University and renewed collaboration with Gifu University. The first »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË medical student has already begun research in Japan as a result of these partnerships.
